PASTA MASTERCLASSES WITH CARMELA SERENO + dinner
10.30 am – 1 pm: LASAGNE MAKING CLASS
We will all start off by making an egg dough and rolling it into lasagne sheets, before completing and layering our lasagne with Carmela’s family recipe. Traditionally a dish from Molise, this lasagne with be layered with a beef and pork sugo, sliced eggs, mozzarella and Parmigiano Reggiano. Then take your lasagne home to bake, but will be able to enjoy a pasta lunch cooked by Veronika from The Pasta Shop Darlington.

NEW! 1 pm – 3.30 pm: Tortelli making class – SOLD OUT
Carmela will and demonstrate to all students how to make the most wonderful tortelli filled pasta. Starting off with a cherry tomato sauce, demonstrated by Carmela, followed by a seasonal filling. All students will then make their dough, followed by filling and forming their tortelli.
After that you can enjoy a pasta dinner cooked by Veronika from The Pasta Shop Darlington.
22nd FEBRUARY
NEW! 10.30 – 1 pm: Spinach and ricotta Gnudi with a gorgonzola and cream sauce.
Carmela will demonstrate how to make the indulgent gorgonzola and cream sauce then all students will make naked pasta called gnudi. After all the hard work you can enjoy a pasta lunch cooked by Veronika from The Pasta Shop Darlington.
1 pm – 3.30 pm: Ravioli masterclass + dinning
Carmela will demonstrate how to make spätzle pasta with a classic speck and taleggio sauce.
All students will then make filled cappellacci pasta to take home, but will be able to enjoy pasta dinner cooked by Veronika from The Pasta Shop Darlington.
